Make yourself aware of information on registration and voter ID laws

November 8th 2016 is just around the corner and millions of Americans will be casting their vote for the next president, public official and state proposition. No matter who or what proposition you’re voting for it is very important that you research information on registration, early voting and understand that not all states have the same voter ID laws. Another thing to be aware of is that 14 states this year will have new voting restrictions in place for the first time in a presidential election. Please click this link http://www.brennancenter.org/voting-restrictions-first-time-2016 to see if you’re in one of them. Various scams to look out for

Here’s just a few scams that may find their way to you:

a) If someone calls claiming to be a state election official conducting registrations and attempts to get personal information…….SCAM!

b) If someone calls offering rewards and prizes for a political survey…….Legitimate political surveys do not offer them…….SCAM!

c) If someone calls requesting campaign donations. Legit donations are made directly on the candidate’s website…….SCAM!

***Please contact your state’s election office should you encounter any of the above listed situations.

Please make smart and informative actions out there because many are out to fool you! I hope this information has helped in any way.
